Sant Josep de Sa Talaia
On the westside of the island lies the municipality Sant Josep de Sa Talaia with the capital that carries the same. Sant Josep is it called as well and is the biggest municipality of Ibiza. There are a lot of stories about this rocky hill that comes out of the water. A lot of islanders and visitors are convinced that this rock has magical powers. From different points on the westcoast there are fantastic views over Es Vedrà.
Beautiful beaches
Sant Josep has the most beautiful beaches which attract many visitors every year. In the nordwest these are Cala Comte and Cala Bassa, where the white sand slowly over goes into the azure blue water.
